In 'Green Hornet Comics #7' (published in 1942), the daring masked vigilante Green Hornet and his loyal partner Kato face two of their most intriguing cases.
The first story, 'The Case of the Murdering Clown', features the unexpected return of a villain everyone believed to be dead: 'The Murdering Clown', an extravagant and cruel criminal who openly challenges both the authorities and the Hornet himself. As the villain unleashes a wave of chaos and revenge, Britt Reid (the Hornet’s secret identity) must rely on both his journalistic wit and his double life to uncover the truth behind this macabre comeback.
In the second tale, 'Case of the Museum Mummy', the Green Hornet investigates a series of mysterious deaths linked to the opening of an Egyptian exhibition. A supposed ancient curse seems to come to life when a body is found beside an ancient sarcophagus. However, Reid suspects that behind the symbols and superstitions lies a far more earthly and sinister plot.
This issue blends crime suspense, classic action, and pulp horror atmosphere, portraying a hero who not only battles criminals but also the shadows of superstition and modern corruption.
